Creatures of habit,

That we are.

Some can cure,

Others only endure.

Dependency is a habit,

Of which I am guilty.

But it's easy to engage in a bad habit,

So don't hold it against me.

I can walk away.

And, you,

You can run away too.

Or we can both stay.

Not me,

Not you,

For it has to be us two.

You can play it safe,

You can sway.

Not me,

I choose to stay.

For rehab is for quitters.

Together we can make it.

But it only takes one to break it.
